The AIA Secretary has extended the deadline for members to report their 2009 education requirements.  In an email to CACE members and Component Presidents, Institute President George H. Miller FAIA and Paul W. Welch, Hon AIA, Acting Executive Director, announced that members who are behind in updating their transcript records have been granted and extension until Friday, December 31, 2010.  In recognizing the issues architects have faced because of the economic slowdown, the change was determined necessary to help members to complete and report their required CE requirements.  This extension is not a waiver to the CE requirements.  Those persons seeking a waiver should contact the Institute Secretary.

Members who are at risk of losing membership by not meeting their continuing education requirements should have received an email directly from the Institute notifying them of this extension.

Those currently not in compliance and also interested in petitioning the institute for a CE waiver should Click Here for additional information.
